Conditions of admission

The Сenter of Pre-University Training and Work with Foreign Citizens in Dnipropetrovsk University of Economics and Law (DUEL) is

• a team of highly qualified teachers
• a guarantee of preparing foreigners for entrance to the higher educational institutions of Ukraine
• teaching Russian and Ukrainian, mathematics and biology
• a guarantee of being accepted as a student of DUEL as well as of continuing education in the Master and Doctoral programmes according to the chosen major

The Center organizes invitation, enrollment and visa support of students in the embassies and consulates of Ukraine. Comfortable accommodations in the university dormitories are provided. We have up-to-date facilities: comfortable study-rooms, specialized computer linguistic and multi-media classes, a library and comfortable reading rooms. All this creates the best conditions for training foreign students.

Foreign citizens can choose from the following majoring areas:

• Finances and Credit
• Marketing
• Audit and Accounting
• Economic Cybernetics
• Management
• Enterprise Economy
• Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities
• Psychology
• Philology (Translation)
• Law

Tuition is organized on contract basis. The cost of tuition is

• at the Preparatory Department – from 8,445 Ukrainian hryvnas (UAH) per year
• professional training (majors) – from 11,566 UAH per year
• doctoral courses and professional probation – from 2,000 UAH per year

The terms of study:

• At the Preparatory Department – 1 year
• Bachelor programme – 4 years
• Master programme – 1 year

Foreigners and persons without citizenship are enrolled according to the interview results. Accepting foreign citizens for studies is done on the basis of

• international agreements of Ukraine
• Ukrainian all-country programmes
• contracts of higher educational institutions with organizations and private persons

According to the Decree No. 1238 of 5 August 1998, all foreigners applying for acceptance to the university are expected to submit the following documents:

1. a completed personal information/application form
2. a copy of the document of education with the transcript of grades for subjects learned
3. a document about the absence of AIDS-infection if other arrangements are not foreseen by international agreements of Ukraine
4. a medical certificate as to the state of health certified by an official health protection body of the country from where the foreigner has arrived (the certificate to be received not earlier than to months prior to the departure for studies in Ukraine)
5. health insurance (except foreigners arriving from the countries having agreements with Ukraine about giving free of charge medical help to their citizens)
6. a copy of the birth certificate
7. six photos 60 X 40 millimeters in size
8. a return ticket with a one-year open date for return to the country of origin

For enrollment for post-graduate and doctoral programmes, besides the documents, indicated above, foreigners are also expected to submit other documents according to existing regulations. The documents indicated in 2, 4, 6 have to be certified according to laws of the country of issue and legalized according to existing regulations if other arrangements are not specified by international agreements of Ukraine.
