The multi-aspected scholarly research theme “Optimization and Intensification of Teaching Foreign Languages to Adults” is carried out by the Chair faculty members under the guidance of O.B. Tarnopolsky, Doctor of Education, Full Professor. The theme is developed on the basis of both theoretical studies and experimental research. Faculty members research numerous aspects of this theme such as:

2. Teaching Spanish as the second and the third foreign language using contemporary information technologies.

3. Teaching EFL business correspondence skills using computer technologies.

4. Teaching writing in English as a foreign language.

5. Communicative approaches to teaching English phonetics.

6. Integrated skills approach to teaching EFL speaking and writing.

7. Innovative approaches to teaching Business English.
